Prudential Ranked a Best Place to Work in IT

WOS congratulates its founding partner, Prudential, which was recently named one of the best places to work in IT by Computerworld.

The magazine cited Prudential “for challenging its IT staff while providing superior benefits and compensation.” Up two spots from last year, Computerworld ranked Prudential 15th out of 100 organizations. The ranking are based on the company’s offerings such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention.

Prudential CIO Barbara Koster—a member of WOS’ CIO Executive Council—attributed her organization’s high ranking to Prudential’s commitment to developing talent, competitive pay, great benefits, and allowing their employees to contribute. Additionally, Prudential is excited to know that their employees value the “positive, supportive work and the technology environment we foster,” Koster said in a company news release.

Koster also mentioned Prudential’s commitment to developing talent through community outreach: “Our partnership with Workforce Opportunity Services—a non-profit organization—along with Rutgers University and Columbia University, has allowed us to create technology career opportunities.”

WOS is proud to partner with distinguished companies like Prudential. We appreciate the company’s commitment to building a strong workforce and nurturing talent, and we applaud Koster and her team for the well-deserved recognition.
