The WOS Academic Advisory Board was established to address how the WOS talent supply model can be broadened to meet the needs of businesses. Our advisory board is composed of the most accomplished faculty and business leaders who are focused on such employment issues as workplace diversity, talent management, alternative supply chain, outsourcing, and global competition. The Academic Advisory Board represents a new movement in the way in which businesses and higher education can work together to reduce student debt while proving organizations with a competitive and diverse workforce alternative.
The Academic Advisory Board is chaired by David Thomas, Dean of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Peter Cappelli, the George W. Taylor Professor of Management at the Wharton School and Director of Wharton’s Center for Human Resources, and Charles Snow, the Mellon Foundation Professor of Business Administration in the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University, also serve on the board.
