Eligibility

Young adults living in low-income, inner-cities or rural communities that neighbor participating universities—Columbia University, Rutgers University-Newark, The University of Akron, Penn State-Lehigh Valley, Penn State-Abington, and University of North Florida—are eligible to seek enrollment in one of the local programs when a new program is announced. Applicants must have a high school education or GED to be considered for the programs. High school and college students as well as war veterans may apply for openings.
