Dr. Art Langer to Join Ameri100 in Ringing the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell

Today, Dr. Art Langer, Director of Columbia University’s Center for Technology Management and Founder of Workforce Opportunity Services, will join Ameri100 as they ring the Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell in New York City.

Founded four years ago, the Princeton, New Jersey-based management solutions firm intertwines tech innovation with business expertise to provide global companies across different industries with SAP cloud, digital, and enterprise services. The firm—which has offices throughout the country, in Canada, and in India—is led by Giri Devanur; a graduate of Columbia University’s Technology Management program where Dr. Langer also serves as Academic Director. The concept behind Ameri100 was derived from his master's thesis for the university's technology management program.

As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative, Ameri100 partnered with WOS to develop a program that aligns post-9/11 military veterans and underserved adults with career opportunities in the IT sector. Many of the individuals who participated in the program landed full-time, entry-level positions at the company with the opportunity for growth and advancement.

Dr. Langer, an author and expert in the realm of information technology, has served on the company’s board as an independent director as has been dedicated to pushing the corporation’s mission forward. “It’s been an honor to serve on Ameri100’s board and witness the company’s growth,” said Dr. Langer. “It is companies like them that make what we do possible: giving military veterans and underserved young adults a chance to grow their careers and providing the support they need to thrive. Our organization will continue to work with Ameri100 to ensure they get the talent they need while in turn, they’re giving someone in need an opportunity.”
