Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS) recruits, designs, educates, and prepares local talent to fill the specific skill needs of your firm. WOS manages all aspects of this program, which includes employment in a WOS consulting arrangement until your company is ready to transition the individual as your employee.

TALENT ACQUISITION PIPELINE (TAP)

Through our flagship program, Talent Acquisition Pipeline (TAP), we train and educate in need adults and veterans for employment opportunities at our partner organizations. The TAP program is customizable to the needs of our partners with proven success across a variety of sectors such as information technology, business services, and manufacturing.

WOS manages all aspects of the program, working with our partners to assure a timely, efficient, and successful transition of our participants into the workplace

The Process

A WOS Client Service Manager (CSM) directs all aspects of the program, working with our partners to assure a timely, efficient, and successful transition of our participants into the workplace.
Conduct Needs Assessment
  • WOS consults with partners on their talent needs
  • WOS develops a program framework addressing partner’s needs
  • WOS and partner agree upon a set timeframe for deliverables
Talent Recruitment
& Selection Process
  • WOS manages multi-pronged recruiting and vetting process
  • Customized interview and certification process tailored to partner’s talent needs
  • Selection of participants is finalized and approved by partner
Academic Training
  • WOS designs training curriculums tailored to partner’s needs
  • Curriculum is taught at local flagship academic institution and includes both interpersonal and technical training
  • Support and mentorship provided by CSMs
Full Time Consultancy
  • Participants complete academic training
  • Participants start full-time consultancy at partner’s organization
  • CSMs are on-site to provide participant and partner support
  • Participant is employed by WOS until hired by partner after a set period of time

When a partner decides to implement TAP into their organization, WOS designs and develops rigorous academic training curriculums tailored to our partner’s workforce goals, which is taught at a local flagship academic institution.

We recruit veterans and local community job seekers, to partake in our hands-on work-study programs, which include both technical and soft-skills training. Participants complete their academic training while working at our partner’s company and are provided with a hands-on Client Service Manager to ease their transition into the workforce. Upon the program’s completion, participants work full-time at the corporate partner as WOS employees and are eligible to be hired away at a mutually agreed upon time period.
