Business Analyst

This is a consultancy role with the potential to hire with our partner Chubb. Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. With operations in 54 countries, Chubb provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients.

Candidate Profile:

  • Post 9/11 Veteran with an Honorable discharge, OR
  • Currently serving in the National Guard or Reserve
  • Availability to work full-time

Overall Position Description:
The Business Analyst will analyze business requirements to capture and encapsulate information, with an emphasis on the importance of accuracy, and segregate them into high level and low level use cases, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams.


  • Interact with client groups to determine user requirements and goals
  • Interacted with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and stakeholders to get a better understanding of client business processes and gather business requirements
  • Work with Project Managers to determine the current best practices for gathering requirements
  • Manage business requirements while making them available to all team members
  • Develop clear, concise detailed system requirements specification documents and user documentation in accordance to guidelines and standards of a level where developers can interpret, design and develop the application
  • Define program and project goals, objectives, products, services, constraints, assumptions, risks and facilitated processes by working with the project team, sponsor, and stakeholders to baseline the scope of the work and enable plan development
  • Responsible for extensive level of project documentation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understands basic technology architectures, concepts, and tools
  • Ability to absorb high-level project descriptions, capture key requirements, and filter out nonessential information
  • Ability to formulate and asks probing questions at the appropriate times
  • Ability to think critically
  • Comfortable with, and capable of, expressing concerns
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to assimilate information into concise notes and summary diagrams
  • Ability to communicate output effectively, via email, while assembling responses, and making appropriate revisions


  • Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)


  • $21.00/Hour (Plus Benefits)


  • Whitehouse Station, NJ
