Candidate Profile: 

  • Post 9/11 Military Veteran with an Honorable discharge, OR currently serving in the National Guard/Reserve
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Available to work full-time


Selected candidate will be part of the Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) organization focused on supporting the development and execution of proactive information security & risk management controls into our global Manufacturing & Lab environments.


  • Support Information Security resources in operational technology within and across J&J’s manufacturing business processes
  • Bridge the gap between traditional Information Technology (IT) and manufacturing’s Operational Technology (OT) by:
    • Enhancing the awareness of cyber security risks in supply chain and manufacturing;
    • Understand the technologies and security challenges faced by J&J’s manufacturing businesses;
    • Support the ISRM risk assessment program;
    • Provide guidance to technical and business teams while implementing security requirements for manufacturing systems and identification of security metrics/performance indicators;
    • Recommend security solutions, track risks, and support remediation plans; and
    • Support supply chain and manufacturing in their continuous improvement of the program and reporting activities
  • Assist in developing and delivering information security awareness and training to stakeholders
  • Maintain awareness of the changing threat landscape as it relates to J&J’s supply chain and manufacturing business
  • Support the development of ISRM programs that enhance security and reduce risk across the OT community as well as the preparation of related material for technical, business and executive audiences.
  • Compile and distribute monthly information security vulnerability digest for industrial control systems
  • Compile and distribute monthly metrics reports on information security risks at Johnson & Johnson manufacturing sites
  • Execute Supply Chain Cyber Security Scorecard exercise (including data collection and reporting)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • To be eligible you must be a Veteran with an honorable discharge and served in the military post 9/11 (or currently serving in the Guard/Reserve)
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or business administration with a concentration in technology management preferred
  • Experience/knowledge of SCADA, Supply Chain, or Isolated networks
  • Strong competency documenting and presenting in written and verbal English
  • Customer focus (internal and external)
  • An operating knowledge of information security principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to understand network topology and IT concepts
  • Experienced in Advanced Excel functions and the office suite of products
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster working relationships with the team, IT Management and Client departments
  • Strong understanding of Information Security
  • Strong judgment and management skills
  • Strong analytical ability
