Job Overview:

As an IT manager at WOS, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities for the organization. You will help determine the IT needs of the organization and be responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements. You will also serve as the administrator for any existing IT systems. You will also be the main resource for making any changes to the website and will need to work with stakeholders across the organization to gather the requirements for the changes and implement them.

Objectives of this Role

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software for potential adoption
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support, when needed
  • Make changes to company websites as requested through our custom-built CMS, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Administer email accounts and workplace trainings
  • Create documentation to support new and ongoing IT related projects

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, operating systems (Windows and MacOS), and other IT software/platforms (Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Cloud, web hosting, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Experience with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
