Visual Arts Exploration II

This cost-free Visual Arts Exploration series is offered to individuals looking to expand their horizons in the arts.

Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS), a leading non-profit organization connecting individuals from underserved populations with transformative career opportunities, has added another cost-free online Visual Arts Exploration series aimed at expanding your horizons in the arts.

This series will cover a variety of themes to include:

  • Window to the East - A look at the history and influence of Asian Art and Artists
  • Mother & Child - A celebration of Mother’s Day
  • Alice Neel and Friends - A profile of Alice Neel’s exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as a review of Artist Jordan Casteel and The New Yorker writer Hilton Als
  • Grief and Grievances:  Art and Mourning in America - An intergenerational exhibition, bringing together thirty-seven artists working in a variety of mediums who have addressed the concept of mourning, commemoration, and loss

The workshop is completely free and is provided by Workforce Opportunity Services.
