WOS Announces Executive Leadership Promotions

New York, NY: Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS), a nonprofit that provides career opportunities for underserved individuals, recently announced significant changes to its leadership structure. Effective immediately, Anthony Amato has been named Vice President of Business Services and Russ Yorks has been named Vice President of Client Service Operations. Anthony and Russ have been with WOS for five years.

“Anthony and Russ have been vital to overseeing the success of our everyday operations,” says Dr. Art Langer, Founder and Chairman of WOS. “That’s no small feat when you take into account that each of our partner corporations is getting uniquely customized talent solutions to suit their needs. Their service and dedication has been immeasurable, and we’re eager to see them spearhead initiatives that will continue to foster our mission.”

Prior to the announcement, Anthony served as Director of Academic Operations. In his new role as Vice President of Business Services he will focus on the development of new products and services and will continue to manage all of WOS’ partnerships with academic institutions.

Previously, Russ served as Director of Veterans Programs. As Vice President of Client Service Operations he will be responsible for client service implementations on a national scale in order to ensure WOS programs are successfully launched.  

Since its founding in 2005, WOS has partnered with over 50 corporations to provide diverse, early career talent. WOS has operated in 16 states and has placed over 1,200 underserved young adults and military veterans in long-term career opportunities. Most recently, WOS has partnered with GE to train and place individuals as Java Developers in their Detroit and New Orleans locations.
