Mechanic, Equipment, and Skills Trade Programs

The WOS model has been successfully used in skilled trades such as electricians, mechanics, and hydraulic workers.

We provide skill-based training and development to create dedicated manufacturing & technology-based professionals

The Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS) model has been successfully used in skilled trades such as electricians, mechanics, and hydraulic workers. Our skilled trades programs find the best workers, and provide job-readiness training with third-party vocational schools that enable companies to fill critical labor shortages.

Examples of our hard skill training development include:

  • Engines
  • Electronics
  • Hydraulics
  • Equipment

WOS provides our consultants with the all the education and support they need in order to successfully integrate into the manufacturing workplace. While they are in our program, we pay for their college tuition and provide them with a dedicated Client Service Manager to ensure their progress is on track.

Prior to working on-site at your organization, program candidates go through job readiness training with one of our qualified instructors. Our instructors ensure candidates are prepared to enter the manufacturing workplace with instruction on:

  • Critical Thinking and Decision Making
  • Setting Goals/Time Management
  • Exposure to technical aspects of the role
  • Managing conflict
  • Setting Priorities
  • Employer Expectations

After training has been completed, candidates go through additional vetting to ensure they are qualified for their position. Our training gives candidates a solid foundation of workplace expectations and enables them to assimilate into their roles more quickly and effectively than traditional routes to employment.
