Prudential Financial, Inc. is a financial services leader that provides customers with a variety of products and services, including life insurance, annuities, retirement-related services, mutual funds and investment management. A WOS partner since 2005, Prudential utilizes the On Demand and TAP programs and places WOS participants in Customer Service, Information Technology, Project Management, and Accounting/Finance positions.

Recognition has ranged from Diversity Inc’s “Top 50 Companies for Diversity” (2014 and 13 prior years) to Military Times’s “Best for Vets Employer” (2014 and 4 prior years). 

One of the ways that Prudential has attained this success is by partnering with Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS). The collaborative effort between Prudential and WOS to align underserved early career adults and veterans is a relationship that stretches back over 10 years. Over 100 people, both underserved young adults and veterans,  have been served through the program and have gone on to graduate into full-time, on-staff roles at Prudential. Several have already been promoted into larger roles, while others have helped bring additional underserved young adults and veterans to Prudential; in some cases through WOS programs, in other cases as direct hires.

While many have found success as project managers, others are contributing to Prudential as systems analysts, IT Security specialists, network engineers, internal operations consultants, QA testers, business continuity specialists, and IT Architecture team members.
