Orletta Caldwell is a passionate educator and nonprofit management specialist. In her previous capacity as the Learning Center Coordinator in Detroit, Orletta utilized her more than 30 years of administrative and leadership experience to partner with nonprofits, high schools, colleges and universities to teach workshops on resume writing, employment interviews, professional branding, and interpersonal skills to 1,000-plus individuals. Prior to joining WOS, Orletta was Executive Assistant to the VP/CIO of Jostens Inc., a Fortune 100 company; Executive Director, Camp Baber; and Assistant Professor at Grand Rapids Community College. She has served in many professional and volunteer capacities that include the Urban Renewal Commission for the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Board Member/Secretary, Association of Gospel Rescue Missions; and the Southfield Downtown Development Authority in Southfield, Michigan. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from Wayne State University, Master of Science in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, and is completing her Ph.D. in Public Policy & Administration, specializing in Nonprofit Management, from Walden University.
