Data Analyst

Candidate Profile:

  • Post 9/11 Veteran-honorably discharged, OR
  • Current National Guard / Reservist
  • Some College Preferred
  • Availability to work full-time

Overall Position Description:

The Data Analyst is able to manage data quality issues, metrics gathering, life cycle data generation and outline critical information. The Analyst is someone who is able to provide comprehensive reporting and recommend specific types of data that can be used to improve upon them.


  • Global Command Center (GCC):
    • Coordinate recurring meetings to include:
      • Preparation
      • Execution (running)
      • Communications (including notes)
      • Run Change Approval Meetings
    • Manage Metrics/Scorecard, including coordination with Task/Project Owners 
    • Manage Non-GCC Priority 2 tickets
    • Assist where required with GCC Priority 2 tickets
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
    • Follow up on Data Quality issues that are over due pending with Configuration Item (CI) owners
    • Support testing of existing or new functionality
    • Simple data analysis and reporting for process control and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)
    • Manage documentation
  • Tools:
    • Gathering of metrics across the tools sets
    • Coordination across the team in Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) activities
    • Ticket analysis to identify common/recurring incidents
    • Small project coordination / tracking of tasks
    • Depending on skill set – will assign more complex tasks


  • Excellent communication skills (oral, business writing, and listening)
  • Experience with Data Analysis
  • Strong focus and data orientation
  • Some College Preferred
