Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS), a leading non-profit organization connecting individuals from underserved populations with transformative career opportunities, is hosting a free online National Portrait Gallery Visual Arts series. Each session is designed to expand your horizon in the arts.

Join us as we take a journey through the National Portrait Gallery. The mission of the National Portrait Gallery is to tell the story of America by portraying the people who shape the nation’s history, development and culture. Areas we will cover in this series include:

• Portraiture 101: Introduction to Portraiture and the NPG
• Hung Liu: Portraits of Promised Lands
• Issues of Representation: Limitations of Portraiture
• Celebration of Indigenous Cultures

Sessions will be presented by Vanessa Jones and Irina Rubenstein.

Each session is free and is provided by Workforce Opportunity Services.
